Through November 17, fans of bar culture can enjoy the 18th edition of Festival Bar em Bar, which celebrates the culinary richness of bars in Brazil.
With the theme “A toast to the best moments“, the event, organized by Abrasel, brings together establishments from various regions of Brazil to present exclusive snacks at promotional prices, made especially for the event.
Many participating bars have prepared brand-new recipes that reflect the creativity and diversity of each region's cuisine, offering a true culinary journey without leaving your city.

According to Lucas Pêgo, development lead at Abrasel, the festival goes beyond flavors, standing out as a cultural and social experience.
“Bar em Bar is an event that celebrates what bars mean to Brazilians: places where stories are told, friendships are made and local food is valued. The snacks created for the festival show the innovation and dedication of the cooks, who bring a special touch to every dish,” he comments.
Besides giving customers unique moments, the festival is also a chance for bars to gain more visibility and win over new regulars.
Now in its 18th edition, the festival has already made several snacks permanent fixtures on bar menus. That turns Bar em Bar into an opportunity for establishments to test new ideas and collect direct feedback from customers.
Anyone who has taken part in previous editions of the festival knows the experience goes far beyond the food. “I took part last year and it was great for discovering new bars and flavors. This year, I'm going to use it to visit some different places with friends,” says Mariana Dutra, a bar enthusiast.
Ramom Isaia, from AKR25 Bar in Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo, took part in the last edition and stresses how important the festival is to the sector's success. “The event not only promotes our products and our establishment, it also attracts new customers and encourages the culture of going out to bars and restaurants.”
With each edition, Bar em Bar reinforces the role of bars as spaces for socializing and leisure, while also reviving the idea of the neighborhood bar as part of Brazilian cultural identity.
